Cold Symmetry used Steam community posts to send players to Discord. That is why this wiki treats https://discord.com/invite/mortalshell as official and does not invent a “Mortal Shell II Official” vanity next to it. The guild title after accept should be Mortal Shell — a franchise community, not a name we made up to match the sequel title.

The Open Beta listing told players to file bugs on the dedicated Discord. Beta rooms can differ from 1.0. If a pin still talks about the beta build, mark that note TBA against your retail save. Do not treat a leftover beta thread as a 1.0 patch note.

One code, two hosts

discord.com/invite/mortalshell and discord.gg/mortalshell are the same invite. Discord’s join box may rewrite one into the other. Read the code after the rewrite. If it is no longer mortalshell, you left the official door. Do not paste a shortened URL (bit.ly, tinyurl, “discord-gift” clones) into Join a Server.

Desktop app

Open Discord → + on the server list → Join a Server → paste https://discord.com/invite/mortalshell → Join Server. If the box rewrites the URL, the path must still end in mortalshell. After join: read the first pinned / rules room the sidebar shows. Channel names on this wiki are placeholders, so follow the live labels, not a #name we invented.

Mobile and browser

On a phone, open the same invite in the Discord app or a browser, log in, and accept. A related search for “Mortal Shell II Discord PS4” is a dead platform: Mortal Shell II ships on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, not PS4. Discord still runs on a phone; the game does not. Browser join does not need a second “official” domain. If Discord offers the app download, that is optional — the invite code is not.

What Accept is not

Accepting https://discord.com/invite/mortalshell is not a Steam login, not a console account link, and not a receipt upload. Any “staff verification” that asks for those is a scam. This wiki also never asks you to log into a store to prove you own Mortal Shell II. Safety basics: Discord Safety.

Nitro pages are a different product

Discord Nitro is Discord’s paid subscription. It is not a Mortal Shell II reward and it is not bundled with https://discord.com/invite/mortalshell. A site that wraps an invite in “claim 3 months Nitro” is a credential harvest. Close it. Open https://discord.com/invite/mortalshell yourself. If a bot wants you to authorize a new application before you can see the guild, treat that as unofficial unless a pin you already trust named that bot — we have not logged one.

Never download a trainer from a DM

Mortal Shell II is a paid single-player soulslike. This site will not build a cheat, WeMod, or crack page. Anyone in Discord DMs offering those is not Cold Symmetry staff. Do not run the file. Do not paste a Steam Guard code into a “verify ownership” form. If you already clicked a lookalike host, change the Discord password and revoke app access from Discord settings — then rejoin only via https://discord.com/invite/mortalshell.

A Steam community comment cannot mint a second official invite. If a news post and this page ever disagree on the code, stop and re-read. The verified string on August 18, 2026 is mortalshell.

Why the names stay TBA

A guessed #general or #bug-reports line becomes a 404 the moment staff rename the room. This wiki will fill real names after a Browse Channels pass. Until then, read the sidebar after you join. If a Limited or Follow Category block is hidden, follow it — do not assume a second official guild exists because a room is missing.

No LFG room to invent

Mortal Shell II is Single-player. Discord is a community, not a co-op lobby. Do not ask this page for a raid or summon-sign room. If staff later add voice or a chat-only hangout, that still does not make the game multiplayer.

Once you can tell pins from chatter, the next skill is asking a question a stranger can answer without a ten-paragraph recap.

A question a stranger can answer

Good: “PS5, Infinite Seal, Village Outskirts beacon, red wind-up I keep Guarding — dodge only, or will Vatra Harden eat it?” Good: “PC, Untarnished, just left Harros, first shell pin from the Shell Keeper — Tiel or Proxima if I only have ~27 Glimpses for four lines?” Bad: “help” plus an untagged closer clip. Bad: “give me your Steam so I can gift you Devout.”

Attach a screenshot of the HUD or the Beacon name if you have one. Say whether you already sat (nearby packs come back) and whether the fourth easy Seal near Marrow Keep is off — that Seal disables achievements. Name TBA.

Bug reports are a repro, not a vibe

The Open Beta already trained this habit: dedicated Discord, not a Steam review. Write the platform, the build if the menu shows one, the room or Beacon, the Seal, and the three steps that reproduce it. “Stoned feels broken” is a mood. “Steam, post-8/17 Advanced Access, Franz etched, collect cup dark” is a report. What is safe in a mixed room

No stamina bar, Resolve as the spend, Harros is prologue only, one Seal at a time, and “cleanse then take Ova home” are first-hours facts. They belong next to the beginner guide. Named late bosses, ending beats, and missable trophy routes need a spoiler tag until you confirm a spoiler room. Staff pins beat this paragraph.

Discord does not play the game for you

Joining does not grant a Shell, a Seal, or a Tarstone. You still leave Harros, possess one host, and cleanse a Beacon yourself. Ask after you tried the page. “I banked Resolve and still panic-fired Nail Shot on the Warden” is a useful Discord line. “Tell me the whole game” is not.

This wiki is unofficial
