New to Mortal Shell II — run the first hours, skim tips, or join the official Discord before you chase a late Shell.
Leave Harros after the prologue, pick a first Shell, cleanse a Beacon, and spend Resolve with no stamina bar.
Panic sidearm shots, swapping Seals mid-fight, and walking past a corrupted Beacon that would have been a rest.
Verified Cold Symmetry invite for patch talk and one focused combat question — not a second wiki.
Eight playable Shells, one Seal, and posture breaks — the loop that decides an early death.
All eight playable hosts: Tiel, Eredrim, Proxima, Lazlo, Genessa, Smert, Sariel, Gragu. Harros is prologue only.
Infinite parry, Untarnished guard, Vatra harden. Break posture, then execute. Resolve is the only spend.
Pair an early Shell with Iconoclast or Axe and Dagger, then lock one Seal. No fake S-tier ranked kits.
Every Mortal Shell II run starts the same way: inhabit a Shell, cleanse a Beacon, spend Resolve, then break posture.
Leave the Harros prologue, then inhabit one of eight playable Shells at a Beacon or the Shell Keeper.

Mortal Shell II tips verified August 18, 2026.
Harros is prologue only — do not count him as one of the eight playable Shells.
There is no stamina bar. Resolve fuels Shell abilities, weapon skills, and sidearm shots — panic fire wastes it.
Equip one Seal: Infinite (Parry), Untarnished (Guard), or Vatra (Harden). Swap at a Beacon when the fight type changes.
Most Beacons start corrupted. Cleanse them, take the Ova to Marrow Keep, and unlock rest plus fast travel.
Tarstones cap at ten equipped (Support, Combat, Infusion, Ability). Upgrade at Franz’s Tarforge — do not hoard every drop.
